Today is Sunday, March 14th, 2010.

That’s 3/14!

It’s Pi Day! Wahoo! As if that weren’t enough, it’s also Albert Einstein’s birthday! There is only one way to celebrate! Bagels!

Just get there early. Daylight Savings starts too. Sorry for that one – that’s a real bummer. We won’t do any risky science this week, just in case.

Our sun (and Earth) is moving 100,000 mph faster than we previously thought! So how fast are we going?

I had to share this news story: Canadians Claim South Pole Record. You just can’t make this stuff up.

It’s a world speed record, which just happens to be what we’re studying right now.

It must be a Canadian thing…
