Good Scores All Around – Great Job Everyone!

I’ve posted scores (by student ID) on the window outside my classroom door and have emailed progress reports.

As hard as it is to wait for that first day of summer, there are a few things you should not wait for!

Grades: At least you didn’t wait until the end of the semester to make something up from January, right? I emailed progress reports yesterday afternoon and posted grades (by student ID) on the wall of the classroom. Check your grades! Believe it or not, there are still some things on the No Name Wall of Shame! Everything on that wall will go straight to the circular file at the end of the semester! (sorry, no more cat links) And please, please, please, read the notes at the end of the progress reports. Most questions are answered there.

EOCT: End of Course Test (EOCT) scores are not in yet. Once I get the results I’ll enter them in the computer, email progress reports and post updated grades.

Honors Projects: If there is any artwork from your project that you’d like to keep, please pick it up by the end of the day today.

Books: Please turn in your textbooks. You can put them in the classroom or turn them in to Mrs. Price.

It’s time to turn in your books!

Just drop them off in the classroom.

Today in class we’re taking the 2004 Released EOCT for physical science.

You’ll have a classroom copy that you can’t take home, but if you would like your own copy or an answer key you can get it from the state’s website here. (look for the box heading “EOCT RELEASED TESTS“) We’ll take it with the clickers so I can give you a printout of your answers.

Honesty is expected of all students at Milton. All students and their parents will sign a copy of the Eagle Honor Code at the beginning of the year. Cheating in any one of the following areas (Test taking, homework, or plagiarism) will result in a grade of zero on the assignment and an Honor Violation Form being placed in the discipline folder. Several clubs, organizations, and prospective colleges and universities consider honesty and integrity as a characteristic required for acceptance. Any Honor Code Violation may result in ineligibility for some clubs and organizations. The possibility exists that colleges will request honor code violations and, if requested, this information will be provided by the school.

Of course, the time of the year and location are not truly relevant… Planning on attending UGA or anywhere else for college? You’ll find that the rules at Milton aren’t so tough. (click those links and you’ll see)
